Some blogging newcomers might find the package a bit daunting, but it's written by a true blogging authority, so the content is sure to be as accurate as possible. It provides very clear and specific guidelines on the practice of blogging.
Blogger's Paycheck
Blogger's Paycheck is an interesting entrant to the blogging field. Rather than taking the typical "me too" approach and jumping straight into blogging knowledge, the author begins the book by describing the challenges a new blogger will be facing in the early stages of their career.
While there is a lot of typical content in the book, the author's fresh approach to the subject of blogging makes this short read a very entertaining one. John also reviews practical examples of tasks that he recommends in the book.
Atomic Blogging
Atomic Blogging is standard how-to-blog guide. Like many of the other products reviewed on this web site, there are ample step-by-step instructions for setting up a new blog, but many of the sections aside from this initial setup are relatively sparse on content, leaving some wide gaps in knowledge. With these wide gaps, many of the promises from the sales page are left unfulfilled.
WordPress Goldmine
WordPress Goldmine is a unique product in this set of reviews in that underneath he covers, it's not really a book about blogging. Instead, it's a book on how you can you use Wordpress blogs to earn a secondary income with affiliate programs. The author's approach is both hype-free and realistic.
Blogging for Riches
Blogging for Riches is a very comprehensive video-based program on how to locate profitable niches, and how to create blogs to market affiliate products within those niches. The volume of videos will keep you busy for quite some time, but it is also hampered by the problems inherent in video.
Niche Blogging Profits
Niche Blogging Profits is is a brand new blogging offering, released as of October 2008. It is advertised as being the primary epiphanies learned and experienced by its author in the four years that he's been blogging.
This is not a learning product; rather, it's more of a guiding principles document.
